Director

Robert T. Michaels

Hello, my name is Robert Michaels. My family and I recently moved back to the Shenango Valley. I am a Pennsylvania State Certified Teacher and received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Edinboro University. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Administration and Policy Studies from The University of Pittsburgh. I have 10 years of experience of direct instruction in a typical classroom and 3 years experience as a child care director. My wife and I love to spend time with our 2 girls by taking them on adventures and playing games as a family. I look forward to working with all of you as the new center director of The Buhl Children’s Center of Mercer County.

MISS Gayle

Position: Fiscal Manager

After retiring from the Mercer County Head Start Program Gayle came out of retirement to help the Children’s Center stay on track with our grants and financials in the office. Her love for our children keeps her smiling and coming every day to watch over us all.

Miss Stephanie

Position: Administrative Assistant

Stephanie is the heart and soul of CCMC. She has dedicated the last 25 years for the children and staff at the center. She holds a current Child Development Associates Certificate and always offers a smiling face or helping hand when you walk in the front door.
